Copper is a clockwork butterfly who speaks with actions, not words. A prisoner of the fiendish Clockmaster, Copper can do little more than flitter about the timekeeper’s shop, their wings painfully bound by cruel iron bands. Yearning to soar to great heights, Copper fears they will never see the open sky again.
After Buddy and his friends arrive at the shop, Copper thwarts The Clockmaster’s plan to capture them. Now freed from the timekeeper’s clutches, Copper finally feels a sense of belonging. For Sasha, Warrior-Princess of the Bewilderwyld, speaks the language of all the beasts that dwell within the Realm-Under-The-Bed, and can understand Copper. They decide to join the band of Heroes on their Quest to save Mieya from The Queen of Sorrow. For Copper knows that even the smallest of creatures can perform the greatest of deeds.
But when Buddy is at his lowest, it is Copper who shines a much needed light that rekindles hope in the troubled knight, and helps him find his way.
